Before the hail

Standard

A day of lights on, lights off. Black skies, high winds and storms blowing through with rain and occasional hail followed abruptly by calm, blue sky and sunshine almost to the horizon. Wait three quarters of an hour and repeat.

Looking north east out of the kitchen window towards the mountains where we know several Anglo-Saxons who believe the weather is better up there. It’s better because the lower ridge we live on protects them from the Atlantic winds. Dream on and enjoy the weather heading your way people!

This view of my stone wall, the fig tree with moss and ferns makes doing the dishes palatable. Sometimes, just sometimes doing the dishes can be exciting. This was one of those few times.
